CEF Coordinator Quoted Extensively in <i>Radio Free Asia</i> Report

MARCH 2007 - Dr. Jennifer Turner, CEF, and Elizabeth Economy, CFR, comment on China accusing foreign companies of "environmental colonialism."

In the Radio Free Asia article, "China Shifts Pollution Blame," Dr. Jennifer Turner of the China Environment Forum, and Elizabeth Economy of the Council on Foreign Relations offer their analysis of the recent trend in China of blaming foreign companies for pollution. These accusations are based on a report by China's Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs of over 2,700 companies with heavy pollution impacts, 33 of which were joint ventures of multinational corporations.
