Cold War International History Project announces Graduate Student History Conference at Temple University
Eighth Annual James A. Barnes Club History Conference
The James A. Barnes Club, Temple University's graduate-student history
organization, is pleased to announce the Eighth Annual Barnes Club
Conference. The conference will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2002,
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the Third Floor of Temple University's Student
Center (formerly the Student Activity Center or SAC) on Main Campus in North
Philadelphia. All are welcome to attend.
This year's conference features the work of graduate students from Temple
University; Boston University; Brandeis University; Bryn Mawr College;
George Washington University; the Maxwell School of Syracuse University; New
York University; Ohio State University; Ohio University; Sam Houston State
University of Texas; Slippery Rock University; the University of Delaware;
University of Southern Mississippi; and Villanova University.
Scheduled panels cover a large variety of historical topics, including
sixteenth-century Mexico, women and legal systems, constructions of
identity, American activism, the Cold War, and military history.
