CWIHP Publishes e-Dossier No. 17 by Oliver Bange and Stephan Kieninger

CWIHP is pleased to announce the publication of e-Dossier No. 17, "Negotiating One's Own Demise? The GDR's Foreign Ministry and the CSCE Negotiations: Plans, Preparations, Tactics, and Presumptions," by Oliver Bange and Stephan Kieninger.

Based upon documents obtained from the East German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archive, Bange and Kieninger seek to outline the GDR's pivotal role in the CSCE negotiations, and examine how East Germany's aggressive policies towards West Germany lost their momentum in the face of pressure from Moscow.
