Event: Latin American Immigrants: Civic and Political Participation in the Washington DC-Metro Area

This event is part of a national study of Latin American immigrants and their role as social, civic and political actors in the United States. The project includes case studies of six cities around the nation where Latin American immigrants have a strong presence. It aims to examine successful experience of civic and political engagement by immigrants and barriers to greater participation.
