October 15-21, 2014
An exhibit of photos from the China-Burma-India TheaterWoodrow Wilson Plaza and the Wilson Center We are beset by anniversaries: the 35th year of formal U.S.-China relations, 100 years since the launch of WWI, 70 years since the end of WWII. Often overlooked in the commemoration of these milestones is one of the most important periods in U.S.-China relations—the military alliance of 1941to 1945. You are invited to the exhibit, National Memories, that the Wilson Center is mounting in partnership with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. You can view these photos, curated from American archives, on Woodrow Wilson Plaza and on the 4th and 5th floors of the Wilson Center through October 21, 2014.
