On April 23, Reporter Gregory Johnsen discussed the rise of the Houthi movement in Yemen on NPR’s “Fresh Air.” He also analyzed the impact of the Saudi-led airstrike campaign against the Houthis, claiming that it has provided an opportunity for al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula to gain more control and influence.
