NPIHP partner Anna-Mart van Wyk is featured in this new short film on South Africa's voluntary denuclearization.
A new short film“Nuke Free South Africa: 20 Years On” by the British group WMD Awareness features NPIHP principal researcher Anna-Mart van Wyk and commemorates the voluntary denuclearization of South Africa that lead to the establishment of an African nuclear weapons free zone. Through the opinions of experts and young South Africans, the film examines the positive impacts this act had on South Africa and the global nonproliferation regime.
