Wilson Center Public Policy Scholar Sangyoon Ma was interviewed by Korean television network JTBC on Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping’s Washington visit. Ma, an associate professor in the School of International Studies at the Catholic University of Korea, stated that the visit showed "Xi's status as an international leader" for Chinese domestic audiences and his ability to complete "practical negotiations" for American audiences.
