Se destacó en el Seminario Internacional de Seguridad Ciudadana “Los desafíos para políticas efectivas”, la presencia de la directora del Programa Latinoamericano de Woodrow Wilson Center, Cynthia Arnson. También fue importante el aporte del director de Desarrollo Institucional de CAF, Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina, Christian Asinelli.

Arnson expresó que la seguridad ciudadana es “un desafío en toda la región, no sólo en Argentina” y dijo que las investigaciones que se realizan en su organización, contribuyen a “mejorar las prácticas y conocimientos”. Woodrow Wilson es un programa específico que analiza la seguridad ciudadana en América, las tendencias y políticas públicas.
