Saad Eddin Ibrahim is one of the world's most noted human rights activists. His Ibn Khaldun Center in Cairo has been a regional resource for the development of democracy in the Middle East. He was imprisoned for three years on trumped up charges in an effort to silence his voice. Now released, he provides serious and thoughtful views on the course of reform in the Middle East.
