The Role of Crowdsourcing in Disaster Relief and Communicating with Unfree Societies

Jul 12, 2012 to Jul 18, 2012

On this episode of dialogue we discuss crowdsourcing and the role it plays in disaster relief around the world with John Crowley, a research fellow at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and public policy scholar with the Wilson Center Science and Technology Innovation Program. We are also joined by A. Ross Johnson, a research fellow with the Hoover Institution and also a senior scholar with the Wilson Center's History and Public Policy Program, for a brief look at past and present efforts to communicate with unfree societies.
