The Cold War International History Project was established at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C., in 1991 with the generous support of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
CWIHP disseminates new information and perspectives on the international history of the Cold War, in particular, new archival findings from the former "Communist bloc" and beyond. The project promotes this goal by publishing the CWIHP Bulletin, Book, Working Paper, and e-Dossier series, and by hosting a number of conferences and seminars on Cold War history every year.
CWIHP News is a free newsletter available to anyone interested in the Cold War International History Project. It provides information on past and future CWIHP events, new publications, calls for papers, and conference news.
