Overview

The Cold War International History Project, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Cold War Museum, will host 68/89: a photography exhibition to mark the 40th anniversary of the Soviet-led invasion of the former Czechoslovakia.

68/89 is a collection of black and white photographs by renowned Czech photographers which capture the events of the 1968 Prague Spring and the 1989 Velvet Revolution.

His Excellency Petr Kolar, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, will offer opening remarks for the exhibit.
