Thomas Turner is an adjunct professor of Political Science at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond. He previously taught at universities in DR Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Tunisia, and the United States. He is the author of The Congo Wars: Conflict, Myth and Reality (Zed Books, 2007) and co-author of The Rise and Decline of the Zairian State, Co-author Crawford Young (Wisconsin, 1985). Recent articles include: "Nationalism, Historiography, and the (Re)construction of the Rwandan Past." Claire Norton (ed.) Nationalism, Historiography and the (Re)Construction of the Past. Washington: New Academia Press, 2006; and "Gender Policy, Women's Political Participation, and Development in the Great Lakes Region." Co-author Irène Safi. OSSREA Bulletin, I, No. 1 (February 2004), 17-25). Thomas also works with Amnesty International - USA as DRC Specialist.

Colin Thomas-Jensen is a Policy Adviser to ENOUGH. He previously worked as Africa Advocacy and Research Manager at the International Crisis Group. Colin joined Crisis Group from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he was an information officer on the humanitarian response team for Darfur. He has served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia and Mozambique.
Colin has an MA in African Studies from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), with a concentration in the history of Islam in Africa, African politics, and Islamic family law. He has written for Foreign Affairs and does regular interviews with international news outlets including The New York Times, Al Jazeera, BBC World, CNN International, NPR, and RFI.
