Ending Dictatorship: Options for the International Community

September 09, 2003 // 9:00am11:00am

VENUE: Kenney Auditorium, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University, 1740 Massachusetts Avenue

The September 9th CPRF will examine three different approaches to removing dictators from power: support democratic institutions to force internal change, indict leaders through independent judicial bodies, or negotiate leaders out of power. When and how should these different approaches be applied and what are the lessons learned from recent actions by the international community?
