The Brazil-U.S. Business Council will host its first Forum Brasil Luncheon of 2010, featuring keynote speaker Augusto Wagner Padilha Martins, Vice Minister in the Presidential Special Office for Port Development.

The event will be held at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce building in Washington, DC.

Brazil is preparing to host the 2014 World Soccer Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games and many infrastructure projects will be implemented. Among those projects are some innovative programs for port development. Vice Minister Augusto Wagner Padilha Martins will share his perspectives on the Brazilian Government plans to expand and modernize the Brazilian port system, as well as opportunities for private investment and participation in related projects.
