As Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" confronts the difficulties of every-day politics, what can we conclude about its long-term impacts on Ukrainian politics? How are the constitutional changes coming into force in 2006 likely to influence politics in the country? Which aspects of Ukrainian politics are especially resistant to change? Taking all these things into account, how confident can we be that Ukraine is on a path towards further democratization and integration with the west?
