As Lee Hamilton Steps Down, Colleagues Reflect on his Contributions
This fall, after 12 years of esteemed leadership, Lee H. Hamilton will step down as the Woodrow Wilson Center’s president and director. His colleagues agree the Center has become a more vibrant and relevant institution under his leadership.

Search is Underway for Next Wilson Center President and Director
The Center's Board of Trustees has engaged the services of Russell Reynolds Associates to handle recruitment efforts that will identify a successor to the Honorable Lee H. Hamilton, who has announced his intention to step down as President and Director later this year from the position he has held since January 1999.

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is the living memorial to Woodrow Wilson, president of the United States from 1913 to 1921
