Biography
Justine Lindemann serves as Program Assistant with the Africa Program at the Wilson Center. In 2007, she also worked with the Wilson Center as a research assistant with the Africanist Doctoral Fellowship program, concentrating on post-conflict conceptions of ethnicity and networks of trade in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Justine completed her Bachelors Degree in French Culture and Civilization as well as in German Literature, but mostly concentrated on post-conflict studies, migration studies and international development. She has studied at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar, Senegal, and has also spent time living and working abroad in both France and Germany. From 2005 to 2007, she served as president of the student run 501(c)3, NYC Student Initiative for AIDS, Inc.

B.A. in French Culture and Civilization,(Designated Honors Program) and in German Literature, New York University
