Deadline for U.S. Applicants in the Vermont Law School's Environmental Justice Exchange Extended until DECEMBER 14th
NOVEMBER 2009- The China Environment Forum, the Vermont Law School (VLS) and its partners received a considerable number of applications from Chinese applicants for the Environmental Justice Young Fellows Exchange Program as of the original November 13th deadline, but not enough from U.S. citizens. Thus, VLS and its partners are extending the deadline for U.S. applicants ONLY for this unique exchange program

ChinaFAQs Website Launched to Track China’s Energy and Climate Actions
NOVEMBER 2009-The World Resources Institute (WRI) has launched a new website, ChinaFAQs.org, to track and summarize the research of academics, research scientists and policy experts on China’s climate and energy policies and actions. The Woodrow Wilson Center's China Environment Forum is a network partner of China FAQs with CEF Director Jennifer Turner featured as an expert on the site.

OCTOBER 2009- The China Environment Forum and the Vermont Law School (VLS) have been awarded a federal grant to support a U.S.-China exchange program for young professionals working on environmental justice issues.

Asia's Future Report Released
SEPTEMBER 2009- The Woodrow Wilson Center’s ECSP and China Environment Forum received a grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development to investigate Asia’s most serious environmental challenges by bringing together global experts to hold discussions that will enable us to identify trends and opportunities to improve Asia’s future environment. The report is now available online.
