Asia's Future: Critical Thinking for a Changing Environment
Starting in October 2008, CEF and the Wilson Center's Environmental Change and Security Project were charged by the U.S. Agency for International Development with investigating Asia’s most serious environmental challenges. CEF and ECSP held 9 roundtables with experts and conducted interviews and research that helped create this report that focused mainly on Southeast Asia that identifies global trends impacting environment and highlights opportunities for USAID and other donors to improve environmental protection.

 
China Environment Series 10 (2008/2009)
Authors in this issue of the China Environment Series examine many of China's environmental health challenges, with emphasis throughout on potential steps to address these problems through regulation, better research, greater NGO involvement, and international assistance.

 
Sowing the Seeds: Opportunities for U.S.-China Cooperation on Food Safety
English and Chinese Language. Authors Linden J. Ellis and Jennifer L. Turner examine the challenges China faces in improving its food safety record and opportunities for international cooperation. Such cooperation benefits both the global food market and could help China address human health and environmental threats stemming from food production and processing.
