Event Details
Welcome to the homepage for “Lessons from the U.K.’s Permitting Experience: Exploring New Directions for Environmental Permitting in the U.S.” This page is devoted to providing invitees information regarding the one-day workshop co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Center for Environmental Innovation and the Division of United States Studies at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
Join us for this exciting opportunity to share information about the U.K.’s experience with integrated permitting and assess and explore ideas regarding the transferability of integrated permitting approaches in the U.S.
If interested, please add October 25, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to your calendar and RSVP here.
Then, join us in October at the Woodrow Wilson Center's 5th Floor Conference Room in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC.
See the workshop invitation to view details about workshop goals and on-going research on the U.K.’s integrated permitting experience. Also, find information regarding the advance materials you will receive once registered and the expectations for participants.
Once you accept, you will receive updates informing you of the availability of workshop details, logistics, and materials. More information regarding EPA’s research on integrated permitting in the U.K. can be found at http://www.epa.gov/permits/integrated.htm.
