Launch of New Brazilian Journal Interesse Nacional
Apr 05, 2008The Brazil Institute is pleased to announce the release of Interesse Nacional, a new Portuguese language quarterly journal dedicated to advancing a pluralistic debate about the challenges confronting Brazil. Rubens Barbosa, former Brazilian Ambassador to the United States and founder and publisher of the new publication, explained that as the name of the journal indicates, "we are committed to Brazil's national interests. The journal was created to provide a forum for the various visions of these national interests, which are diverse and not always convergent in a democratic society that is engaged in the global scene."
