Former Wilson Center Public Policy Scholar Mark Stout has co-authored an article in the current issue of the journal Intelligence and National Security, entitled "Al Qaida's Views of Authoritarian Intelligence Services in the Middle East."
Against the background of potential nuclear devastation and the confrontation between two ideologies and world powers, an unrestrained psychological war was fought by the two camps using modern means of communication (radio, cinema, covert action, etc).
