Project Summary
Monograph on exiled Mensheviks, as well as the Menshevik underground in Soviet Russia during the 1920s. Reconstructs and evaluates Menshevik critiques of Soviet Russia, demonstrates the role of Mensheviks in defining Wester attitudes towards the Soviet Union, and inquires as to Menshevik impact on American scholarship concerning Russian Revolution.
