To strengthen the world’s largest trading relationship and enhance the security of Americans and Canadians alike, President Obama and Prime Minister Harper announced the Beyond the Border Action Plan on December 7, 2011. The Action Plan lays out clear goals designed to facilitate the $1 trillion in trade and investment that travels between the United States and Canada every year.
