Project Summary
Examines the Grand Alliance of 1941-1947 for a monograph on Cold War history. Examines Soviet relations with Britain and the United States, Moscows changing conception of the grand alliance, internal policymaking in the Peoples Commissariat of Foreign Affairs, the interactin of private and public discourses on foreign policy and international relations. Also examines the role of ideology in wartime.
