Project Summary

An examination of Stalin’s rise to power, with attention to Stalin’s goals in East Europe and his strategies in the post-war period. This grant project supplemented Kraus’s thesis on the Soviet Union’s and the Communist Party’s domination of Czechoslovakia after World War II.
