Although many people know the basic story of Chernobyl, for U.S. audiences the details and the human experience of Chernobyl have faded. The Kennan Institute, in cooperation with the University of Alberta and the Harriman Institute, will commemorate the disaster on its twentieth anniversary in an attempt to help to bring the personal side of the story back into the spotlight. more
