Robert Lovelace is chairman and CEO of Capital Research Company and a senior vice president of Capital Research Management Company. A chartered financial analyst and expert on Mexican companies, he is a portfolio counselor with responsibilities in EuroPacific Growth Fund, New Perspective Fund, New World Fund, and the American Funds Insurance Series at the Capital Group Companies. He also is vice-chairman of the board of visitors at Claremont Graduate School of Education. Robert Lovelace received his BS (summa cum laude) in mineral economics from Princeton University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
