Project Summary

examination of Bolshevik-Menshevik interactions in state institutions, soviets, and other organizations, both in the capitals and in the provinces. Examination of how a legal opposition party functioned in the Soviet Russia of this period, what it was able to accomplish, and why and how it was liquidated.
