Jane E. Holl
Jane E. Holl is currently the executive director of the Carnegie Commission on Preventing Deadly Conflict. Prior to joining Carnegie, Ms. Holl was the director for European Affairs on the National Security Council Staff at The White House. A career Army officer, she served as a policy action officer on the CENTCOM staff in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm, was an associate professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point, a commander of the U.S. Army Information Systems Command at Arlington Hall Station, VA, and brigade signal officer with the Berlin Brigade. She retired from the Army in 1994 and holds a Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University.
