Anita Sharma
Anita Sharma is assistant editor and research coordinator for the Carnegie Commission on Preventing Deadly Conflict. She also supervises the maintenance of the Commission's Web site. Prior to joining Carnegie, Ms. Sharma attended the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, earning a M.I.A. in May 1998. While at SIPA, she interned with CNN Financial News, was assistant writer for the recently published book, International Jobs: Where They are and How to Get Them and managing editor of Slant magazine. She received her B.A. with honors in international relations and geography from Syracuse University and attended Oxford University for a year on a post-graduate scholarship. Also prior to graduate school, she worked as a stringer for the Times Herald Record in New York.
