Nancy Ward

Nancy Ward serves as conference coordinator and dissemination coordinator for the Carnegie Commission on Preventing Deadly Conflict. Prior to joining Carnegie, Ms. Ward was the program coordinator/editor at Women In International Security, a professional networking and educational organization for women in foreign and defense policy. She has held internships or assistantships with the Arms Control Association, the Atlantic Council of the United States and the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, and was the recipient of a Tonya Foundation Postgraduate Fellowship in Public Affairs. A native of Minnesota, Ms. Ward received her B.A. in international relations and political science from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where she focused on arms control and European security issues.
