During the interview, Turner commented on China's efforts and ambitions of curbing carbon emission and expanding renewable energy, as well as its water-energy-agriculture nexus.

During the interview, Turner commented on China's efforts and ambitions of curbing carbon emission and expanding renewable energy, as well as its water-energy-agriculture nexus.

"Five year ago, you would not hear top (Chinese) officials talking about coal consumption cap," said Turner, "but numbers of cities in China have voluntarily step forward, and they are going to cap their coal."
