Former CWIHP Fellow Jordan Baev Publishes European Security System and the Balkans in the Cold War Years

The Cold War International History Project is pleased to announce the publication of European Security System and the Balkans in the Cold War Years (2010) by former CWIHP fellow Jordan Baev. Baev's latest book details the history of both NATO and the Warsaw Pact, as well as the relations between the two organization within the context of the Cold War. He traces major developments and events, which mark the landscape of European security starting with the strategic visions behind creating the two organizations, through the era of detente, the Helsinki process, the Euromissiles crisis, and the Stockholm Conference on Disarmament in Europe.
At present, the monograph is only available in Bulgarian. A table of contents in English can be downloaded here.
