The staff and scholars of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars welcome the 2005-2006 class of fellows. The new fellows include scholars and practitioners from the United States, Russia, Canada, France, and Ireland.

"The Woodrow Wilson Center is pleased to welcome such a diverse group of university-based and non-university-based scholars with a wide range of outstanding research and expertise. The 2005-2006 fellowship class will enrich the intellectual life of the Center, the city of Washington, and the broader dialogue on some of the most important public policy challenges of our times. We are grateful for the remarkable work of the selection committees, and to all who applied," said Lee H. Hamilton, president and director of the Wilson Center.

The 45th class of fellows, most of whom will spend an academic year in residence at the Center beginning September 2005, are listed below with the titles of the projects they will pursue.
