This short film introduces us to Zhou Qiang, also known as Simba, the first Chinese person to dedicate his life to wildlife conservation in Africa. Zhuo left a secure government postion in 2011 to move to Kenya and protect wild animals. With his own funds, he created the Mara Conservation Fund, a conservation NGO focused on saving wildlife from poachers. The Mara Conservation Fund now has partnerships with other local and regional NGOs dedicated to the same cause, and works to educate Chinese tourists and those at home about wildlife conservation.
