Overview

Current interns in Washington, DC are welcome to join us for an interactive session with Wilson Center Fellow and career U.S. foreign service officer Joseph Cassidy and members of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation’s 2017 class of Leadership Fellows. They will tell us about the path their careers have taken and the challenges and opportunities public service brings.

A career in public service offers unique opportunities to be of service to the public while helping to build a prosperous and sustainable America. There are many challenges, however, in finding solutions that work across sectors and constituencies. How can public servants bring people together across the public and private sector to create impact that will last long after their time of service.

If you are not currently engaged in an internship, please join us for the public panel at 3:30pm.

This event is supported by the Henry M. Jackson Foundation.

By providing a platform for sharing lessons, mapping knowledge, and linking people and ideas, GRRP and its affiliated programs empower policymakers, practitioners, and community members to participate in the global dialogue on sustainability and resilience.
