Addressing crime and violence continues to be a top citizen concern in the Americas according to recent polls. While national level security strategies are important, evidence is pointing to more local and more focused strategies designed to address specific public security concerns hold greater promise for reducing crime and violence in communities.
On March 8, our panel of experts discussed local approaches to improving citizen security in the Andean region, with one example from the United States as well.
