Brazil is a leader in renewable energy and a key player in the energy security and climate change debates. The Brazilian Minister of Mines and Energy, Edison Lobão, will join us to share his perspective on these important issues, as well as on how the United States and Brazil can collaborate more closely in addressing 21st century energy challenges. Minister Lobão will also share his outlook for potential partnerships and investments in the areas of electric, hydroelectric, thermal, wind,sugarcane-ethanol, biodiesel, and nuclear,as well as the development of the recently discovered pre-salt oil fields.
