Reporting on the results of the OSTPOLITIK-Project and based on unprecedented access to German archives, historian Oliver Bange will present an important new synthesis of Ostpolitik in the Brandt-Bahr era. Former National Security Council Senior Staff Member (1969-74) Helmut Sonnenfeldt will provide a commentary.
