During a weekly “Wilson Policy Brief Series,” Wilson Center Scholars and expert guests will provide their analysis of the current state of the world during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

As COVID-19 has spread across Russia, the virus has wreaked havoc on its healthcare systems, and the country’s leadership has grappled with potential political consequences of the crisis. Throughout this, the Wilson Center’s Kennan Institute has been at the forefront, offering on-the-ground insights. Join us as Matthew Rojansky, Director of the Kennan Institute and Jill Dougherty, Wilson Center Global Fellow, host of the KennanX podcast, and former CNN Foreign Affairs Correspondent, discuss Russia’s domestic challenges around COVID-19, and the regional and global implications for the country’s relationship with the West.
