Jun is a professor at Peking University's School of International Studies where he teaches courses on the PRC's foreign relations and foreign policy making process. While he is at the Wilson Center, his research will center on the Cold War and the origin of the PRC's foreign policy between 1949 and 1958.

Former Wilson Center Public Policy Scholar Mark Stout has co-authored an article in the current issue of the journal Intelligence and National Security, entitled "Al Qaida's Views of Authoritarian Intelligence Services in the Middle East."

Woodrow Wilson Center Press has published a new book, The Fog of Law: Pragmatism, Security, and International Law, by Michael J. Glennon. It is co-published with Stanford University Press.

The Center's Board of Trustees has engaged the services of Russell Reynolds Associates to handle recruitment efforts that will identify a successor to the Honorable Lee H. Hamilton, who has announced his intention to step down as President and Director later this year from the position he has held since January 1999.
