Audun Halvorsen

Audun Halvorsen serves as the State Secretary to the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ine Eriksen Søreide. Previously, Mr. Halvorsen served as Political Advisor to Norwegian Minister of Defense and Political Advisor on defense and foreign affairs, as well as defense policy, scrutiny and constitutional affairs, for the Conservative Party, Parliamentary Group. He previously held the role of research assistant at the University of Oslo, Department of Political Science. Mr. Halvorsen has also held various party and elected positions within the Conservative Party and previously served in the Norwegian Army. Mr. Halvorsen received a Cand Mag. Degree in Political Science, Public Law and Private Law from the University of Oslo.
