    American neoconservatism and Canadian Foreign Policy

    Full Biography

    After graduating in political science and history at Université de Montréal and Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon, Manuel completed a masters of social sciences at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris, France) under the directorship of Professor Pierre Manent. Having completed a thesis on American neoconservative foreign policy, he returned to Montreal as a PhD student at UQAM, where he is pursuing his research on neoconservatism, this time in the Canadian context. Manuel is the recipient of a doctoral scholarship from the Fonds Québécois de Recherche sur la Société et la Culture. He is also currently acting as research assistant to Stéphane Roussel, at Ecole nationale d’administration publique in Montreal.
