Olga Valkova is Doctor of history working in the S.I. Vavilov Institute for the History of Science and Technology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. She specializes in social history of sciences primary in history of Russian women-scientists from late 18th century till late 50th of the 20th century focusing on biographies of women-scientists in different historical periods and analyzing process of women’s integration into scientific professions.
