Project Summary

A study of the first project of the first Five-Year Plan of the Soviet Union in order to ascertain the more general role of industrialization, the tsarist heritage, economic underdevelopment, and the visions of Bolshevik revotionary leaders, foreign technology, regional ambition and peasants’/workers’ needs and demands.
