President of Mexico’s Partido Acción Nacional (PAN)

Gustavo Madero Muñoz has been the national president of the PAN (National Action Party) since 2010. From 2006 to 2012, he was the senator for the state of Chihuahua. From 2008 to 2010, he was the leader of PAN members in the Senate and from 2008 and 2009, was the President of the Senate. A businessman for many years, he was vice president of Coparmex in Chihuahua, as well as the Director of Planning and Evaluation in Chihuahua during the mandate of Francisco Barrio Terrazas. Gustavo Madero has a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO.)
