Traces the origin of American participation the Allied intervention in Soviet Russia following the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917; discusses various motivations for such an intervention (ideological, military strategy, etc). Compares America’s efforts to other Allied countries. Discusses American culpability in the initiation of the Cold War.
